Timothy grass, without any other additives

It is a pure and high-quality natural product with excellent properties for good health.
Timothy cubes are particularly palatable and thus ideal for picky eaters.

Main properties

• low in sugars and starch
• lower in protein than most other grasses
• very high in fibre, high crude fibre content
• helps promote fitness and ensures a naturally shiny coat
• provides an excellent source of fibre for competition horses that eat a lot of concentrate
• low-protein, free of grains, gluten and molasses.

Application

• For all breeds of horses, for any age
• As a full complement to hay, haylage and grazing
• To replace concentrates containing cereals

Special recommendations:

Pour 1 part feed with 1 to 2 parts water and soak for 15 min before feeding. This prevents the risk of oesophageal blockage in horses that do not chew their feed sufficiently, in horses with poor teeth and in horses that eat their feed too quickly, resulting in insufficient salivation. If the feed is made wet, the stalks and leaf parts absorb water again and this also increases the palatability of the feed.

Always provide plenty of clean drinking water at the feeding place.

Use

• To replace the basic ration of roughage: 1.2 to 1.5 kg daily per 100 kg body weight
• As a qualitative supplement to the basic ration of roughage: the quantity should be adapted to the quantity of the basic ration: 1kg of Timothy cubes replaces 1kg of hay
• As a supplement to concentrated feed: 200g Timothy cubes per 100kg body weight

The amount of feed should be adjusted according to the age and daily energy requirements of your horse or pony.

Timothy cubes contain no added vitamins or minerals. It may therefore be appropriate to add a Balancer to the feed.
